Niners

Taylor and Anna,

This has not been the Niners best season, but we have loved watching them from the new stadium. Daddy and I have been to a couple games and surprised you with tickets for yesterday's game, the last of the season, your first ever!

We went to daddy's normal tailgate for a bit and then headed into the stadium so you could see the full size/scope and people watch too!

We took a little family selfie too:)

The Niners won the game but ended the season by parting ways with their coach, which made me sad. Here is to next year!

41

Dear daddy,

We had the best time celebrating your birthday! You woke up to 2.5 excited kiddos ) .5 of Hudson wanted to skip your birthday and eat Cheerios.

You started with presents, then a quick race to take Anna to PT only to race back to run Tay's 4th grade Christmas party. From there it was a lunch date with your sweet girls and pre-Christmas/birthday errands for me.

Once 5pm rolled around, the fun could begin.  We invited friends over for a quick bite before heading to the Saddle Rack. You have wanted to go there for ages and it didn't disappoint. The best part was that Pat was there with his crew, and you got to celebrate the big 4-1 together.

You rode the bull, and stayed on for 28 seconds.

We celebrated with friends old and new.

It was a great way to start a new year!

Rainy day

Kids,

We had the most ridiculous thing happen last Thursday.
There was a crazy storm and they actually canceled school.
SERIOUSLY!  I almost couldn't believe it when I got the email.

So, when you have an unscheduled day off, what do you do?
Well, first you assess the lake in the backyard.
Then you make an emergency trip to Home Depot where some lady judges you
for not being prepared for the storm.
Then you call a great friend who helps you drain your yard.

Once that is under control- lunch with friends, movies, and cookie making!
The holidays are busy.
Too busy to take a few minutes to have an impromptu day of fun with friends.
We hit Pacific Catch for lunch, where we found out you love shrimp Anna:)
From there, we went to see Penguins of Madagascar.
16 of us- we took up three rows.

To top off the day we baked cookies.

I loved the day with you.

Family Photos 2014

Well Kids,

You brought your A game to family photos this year in a way I didn't imagine possible.
My love for the three of you grew exponentially.
You smiled for the camera, you got along, you were cooperative.
Daddy and I were so grateful.

We can't thank Heather Hunt enough for these beautiful images.
